So Ji-Sub in the New Poster for "Doctor Lawyer" Marks His K-Drama Comeback After Four Years

So Ji-Sub is making his drama comeback for the upcoming Doctor Lawyer as a dangerously handsome surgeon and attorney! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و We’ve certainly seen our fair share of medical dramas and legal dramas, so it’ll be interesting how both will come into play in our main character.

South Korean broadcaster MBC has just revealed a new poster, which features So Ji-Sub standing tall with half of the shot depicting his legal side and the other his persona as a doctor. Of course, a thriller is not complete without a dead body, a bloodied scalpel, and blood all over the floor.

So Ji-Sub married TV personality Jo Eun-Jung in 2020. Since then, he been busy filming the upcoming sci-fi film Alien. Nonetheless, the actor’s who has starred in a long line of dramas throughout his career hasn’t done one since My Secret Terrius in 2018, hence, making Doctor Lawyer his K-drama comeback in four years.

The story follows Han Yi-han, a genius surgeon who loses his medical license due to the death of his patient from a conspiracy. He becomes a medical litigation lawyer and attempts to unearth the truth.

Im Soo-Hyang co-stars as a prosecutor who lost her family member as a result of the surgery performed by Han Yi-Han. The drama also features Shin Sung-Rok and Lee Joo-Bin.

The 16-episode series will officially launch on MBC on May 27, which will air on Fridays and Saturdays.
