Teens in Times (TNT) 时代少年团 has risen in popularity following their evolution in recent years from Typhoon Teens to Teens in Times. Often victimized by stalkers, TNT members and their agency have repeatedly called out the inappropriate behavior by extreme fans. However, it seems that the “fans” won’t be deterred.
It was only last month when stalkers, known in China as sisheng, went into TNT’s hotel room after the boys had left to salvage anything that they can from eating leftover candy to bragging online that they’ve gotten close to their idols by sleeping on the same bed and smelling their masks. Recently, some stalkers have struck again but this time, they find themselves ending up at the police station.
On May 2, it was reported that the TNT members were at Chongqing for work when their car was being tailgated. Their assistant reported the incident to the cops. Photos from the scene show a few girls inside a car either bending down to hide their face or covering their heads with their jackets. Netizens praised the assistant for a job well done and hoped that other companies will start to do the same.
