If you still doubt how much fans love Zhang Zhehan and Simon Gong Jun’s series Word of Honor 天涯客, the phenomenal success of this week’s Word of Honor auction of items from the series should already speak for itself. With some of the show’s most iconic pieces including the blue and red robes worn by both Zhang Zhehan and Simon Gong Jun up for grabs, mega fans clearly didn’t hesitate to dig deep into their pockets and put in a bid as high as 200,000 RMB just to ensure they walk away with a piece from the show.

The drama’s immense popularity these days has ensured practically anything its two stars touches turns to gold. So much so that despite its starting price tag of 1 RMB each, I’m not surprised anymore that both costumes worn by Zhang Zhehan and Simon Gong Jun managed to fetch eye-watering amounts running up to the thousands by the close of bidding. Zhang Zhehan’s sapphire blue ones sold for close to 60,000 RMB (US $9K). Meanwhile, Simon’s ruby red Chief of Ghost Valley costume snagged a jaw dropping pricetag of 200,000 RMB (US $30K)! Crazy isn’t it, but not surprising.
I say, against that 200K price tag, splurging on whatever else these two are endorsing – even the Tom Ford lippie, is starting to sound like a “reasonable” consolation prize. Despite the hefty 450 RMB (US $68) price for a pop, good luck landing one because even that is close to if not already sold out.

Lol…Makeup Brands dont have Cotton issue to deal with so the Stars can still endorse..

Hopefully the brainless fans would buy. Cosplay costumes like that are everywhere at cheap prices.
