Same as the previous week, Symphony’s Romance takes the lead on TV with CSM59 ratings averaging above 2% that puts it far ahead of the rest. However, it’s a very different picture online with Symphony’s Romance not even making the top 10. Taking the lead instead is Chen Jianbin and Li Yitong’s TV drama Don’t Think Twice, Love’s All Right. It’s not a pairing I would’ve expected given the 20 year age gap and the two actors just having very different vibes but it actually fits the requirements of a story about a young woman falling for a wealthy tycoon.
Spy thriller Inside Man come in 2nd place with Qin Hao’s crime thriller The Bad Kids in 3rd. Qin Hao now has two dramas in the top 10 as his recently-premiered historical drama The Song of Glory with Li Qin as the main heroine also enters the list in 5th. The Chinese remake of The Little Nyonya which premiered in June finally climbs to 4th.
Meanwhile, Don’t Think Twice, Love’s All Right star Li Yitong joins the weekly celeb list in 6th. Pan Yueming who plays a supporting role in both Don’t Think Twice, Love’s All Right and Inside Man that air at the same time on primetime lands in 10th place.
