Zheng Shuang Laments Partnership With Company That Continues to Use Her Despite Breaking Things Off
Something must be weighing quite heavily on Zheng Shuang’s shoulders that she was still up quite late last night. And judging from the cryptic message she posted in the wee hours of the morning, it seems not wanting to be signed exclusively under one company is the reason why she’s losing sleep.

According to her original three am post that’s now been rewritten, Zheng Shuang said that a verbal agreement to end an exclusive contract between herself and another party was reached at the end of January last year. But it turns out the agreement that she long thought was already shelved is still at play since the other party didn’t realize that she meant it when she said she won’t be collaborating anymore. “But I wanted to be sensitive to others and didn’t want those present to be embarrassed so I didn’t say much about it. So now for the past few days, I’ve been going at it like super woman, running around and dealing with everything personally from scheduling, contracts, going through scripts and and checking out a clothing work studio recommended by a friend last minute. I’ll need to coordinate with Emma and Daqi on my own, teachers you’ve worked hard!” adds the actress.

Perhaps the message was originally meant to be deleted after all and was just a means for her to vent out some of her raw feelings, but because of the attention it attracted from fans and night owls alike, the post was significantly toned down to something that’s similar … except with a wee little extra tacked in at the end. The actress closed the post with an old quote – “I’m not afraid of running into tigers in the forest, but I’m afraid of being hurt by the two sides of humanity.

“At the beginning of the year, I expressed that I didn’t want to be exclusively tied to a company. This was clearly shared with the partners. It turns out that the relationship I long thought had ended was not the case with others. I wanted to be sensitive to others and don’t want to embarrass those present.
I’m not afraid of running into tigers in the forest, but I’m afraid of being hurt by the two sides of humanity.”

Now exactly who she’s referring to in this post has got everyone confused – whether she’s  referring to an old hair and makeup team she used to work with, or a company that continued to associate with her even after their verbal agreement? We’re all still scratching our heads with this “not quite a blind item” but still puzzling bit of news so I reckon your guess is as good as everyone’s.
