Zack Snyder recently shared another snap of Chinese actor Ryan Zheng Kai’s never-before-seen scenes from the 2017 film Justice League on social media with the caption, “This will be fun.” Snyder who was the original director of Justice League had to exit from the project due to a death in the family with Joss Whedon taking over to make a very different movie.
There have been plenty of calls to release the ‘Snyder Cut’ since then and it looks like the calls have finally been heard with the announcement that an extended director’s cut which is expected to be very different from Joss Whedon’s version and true to Zack Snyder’s original will be released on HBO Max in 2021.

I’d consider myself a casual fan of superhero movies so even though I’d seen Justice League, I was completely unaware that an Asian superhero by the name of Atom (Ryan Choi) was supposed to be introduced in the movie. As it is being revealed now, Zheng Kai who plays Atom filmed scenes that did not make the final cut in 2017. Between his recent marriage, his return for another season of Keep Running and his character’s upcoming debut in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, it’s shaping up to be an exciting year for the actor.
