Sometimes, it takes a wrong turn to get you to the right place. It’s just a matter of seeing (and seizing!) those opportunities life throws at you. In Leon Leong and Eleanor Lee’s (Li Kaixin) newest drama My Love, Enlighten Me 暖暖,请多指教, two people given the unique opportunity to press restart on their lives find fulfillment and direction with each other’s help.

Restarting your life from scratch isn’t easy. After failing to debut with her girl group, 22 year old former trainee Liu Nuannuan is forced to make her way into society with nothing – no dreams to chase, no house to live in and no money. Cast out on the streets in the rain, she makes the acquaintance of Han Che, a clean freak who also has an impressive super memory, who returned home to fulfill his grandma’s last wish.

After taking a job at a clothing store, Nuannuan quickly rose through the ranks and was promoted to work at HQ thanks to her unique aesthetic and diligence. Various challenges are thrown towards the former trainee, but Nuannuan finally gets her groove back designing clothes and with it, a new direction in life. Together with Han Che who’s been with her every step of the way, the pair combine their talents to bring to life a project meaningful to both of them.
While it might be a tad early for an F4 reunion, it’s definitely nice to see Leon like his fellow F4 members in 2018’s Meteor Garden, back this year with dramas of their own. There’s Ever Night 2 with Dylan Wang in it, Darren Chen with The Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty, Caesar Wu with The Chang’An Youth and now Leon too with My Love, Enlighten Me scheduled to air this week!
The 24 episode series also stars Pei Zitian, Xi Meng, Li Mingjun and Xiong Yuting.
