Chinese adaptations of Korean dramas have been the trend for years now with Pretty Li Hui Zhen from She Was Pretty and Prince Coffee Lab from Coffee Prince as just some of the examples. Another adaptation is coming our way with modern romance drama, Use for My Talent 我亲爱的小洁癖 (literal translation: My Dear Neat Freak), which is said to be a remake of Clean With Passion For Now.
The drama recently held its booting ceremony on May 30 in Wuxi Studios with the main cast complete in attendance. Shen Yue (Another Me) will play the role of Shi Shuang Jiao, who was once a beaming sunshine of a girl but turned into someone miserable and sloppy because of a family tragedy. She crosses paths with her neat freak of a boss in a cleaning company, Gu Ren Qi, played by Jasper Liu (Before We Get Married). Everything becomes melodramatic when Shi Shuang Jiao finds out that Gu Ren Qi is related to the cause of her family’s misery though being a rom-com, things have a way of working out.
Before the booting ceremony, the first stills have already been released in which the other cast members have been revealed: Dai Yunfan, Pentagon’s Yan An, Su Mengdi, Charles Lin Borui, Huang Sirui, Tan Quan, Xiao Ran, Qi Shenghan, and Daniel Zhu Xinzong.
Christmas came early as Taiwanese actor Jasper Liu shared these selfies with his co-stars and wrote, “Booting ceremony today! I made some new friends, please take care of me. Shen Yue, it seems that you ate very happily. Dai Yun Fan, thank you for recommending a good (massage) place”. Jasper Liu is relatively new in C-ent despite having this as his fourth C-drama already, quite fresh from wrapping up Twelve Legends while Shen Yue had finished Count Your Lucky Stars prior to this drama.
Based on their selfies, they already look comfortable with one another after filming for over 10 days prior to the ceremony. I’m very curious to see this new pairing and especially how this adaptation will turn out.
From a neat freak who wants to get rid of all the dirt in the world and a messy lady who tries to do the same, please tell me that I’m not the only one who will be watching these neat freaks together!

Aiyooo… the K version didnt even work well in Korea and got 1% rating only. There are a lot of good dramas that can be adapted… why didnt they adapt from C novels. I prefer novel adaptation instead of this drama.

Heard about that too! Looks like it will turn into makjang territory. The plot isn't my cup of tea but will dive into it for Jasper!
