With police drama Hunting premiering last Tuesday, Wang Kai now has two dramas in the ratings game. Most of the new dramas on primetime have hit over 2% though Wang Kai’s historical drama Serenade of Peaceful Joy continues to have a considerable lead as it averages over 2.5% in CSM59 ratings. It has also climbed the ranks to be the top drama online. Hunting is not far behind as it takes 3rd place on its first week.
Candle in the Tomb: The Lost Caverns and My Roommate is a Detective in 2nd and 4th continue to be top web dramas online. If There Is No Tomorrow which has been gathering good reviews online climbs a few spot to land in 5th. The Best of You in My Mind from the creators of Skate into Love comes in at 9th.
With Wang Kai dominating the small screens, the actor joins the weekly rankings in 3rd place along with his Serenade of Peaceful Joy leading lady Maggie Jiang who rounds up the list in 10th. Leon Zhang Yunlong also joins his My Roommate is a Detective co-star Hu Yitian in the top 10. Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo rank in the top 2.
