It’s a busy time for dramas with new and old shows overlapping in one week. I Will Find You a Better Home remains the leading drama on TV, achieving a series best of 3.296% in CSM52 ratings on its finale. It is also the leading drama online followed by the newly-premiered Skate into Love which has shot up to 2nd place on its first week.
Primetime dramas Wait in Beijing and Perfect Partner have also ended. Competition among the new primetime dramas seem to be between If Time Flows Back and Skate into Love with both breaking 2% and the former a few points higher in CSM52 ratings.
I really thought there would be a 50/50 chance that Wang Kai would be back on the small screens. Both Hunting and Held into the Castle were rumored to air on Hunan TV but Yang Shuo’s Lucid Water Lush Mountain ended up taking the slot. It’s currently last among the new dramas and still a few points shy of 2%.
Online rankings is seeing new titles like The Killing of Three Thousand Crows, If Time Flows Back and Winter Begonia rounding up the top 10. Novoland: Castle in the Sky 2 which also premiered recently didn’t make the list. Most celebrities on the top 10 have dramas that just ended or are currently airing except for The Untamed stars Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo as well as Under the Power star Allen Ren Jialun.
