As someone who once thought of taking the path of a Public Relations Officer in my university days, workplace romance Perfect Partner 完美关系 is a welcome sight! It’s like fate has given me the chance to peek at what my life would have been had I pursued it.

In the 50-episode drama, Huang Xuan plays Wei Zhe, a professional in this field secretly suffering from an anxiety disorder. Hailed as the Most Valuable Independent PR Expert, he never gives up until he satisfies his clients even if it means covering the truth but when his expertise is called upon by Jiang Dalin, played by Tong Liya, will things change?

Forced to take over her father’s company due to some unexpected circumstances, she faces a lot of scrutiny from the people who believe that they’re more suitable than her due to her lack of knowledge about the ins and outs of business, but after forming a partnership with the great Wei Zhe, they wiggle their way out of some tight spots to overcome obstacles together.

Finally, one of Tong Liya’s parked dramas is bound to see the light of day! Fans have been waiting for her projects to air for quite some time already. She looks good with Huang Xuan whose matured persona matches his character. He was really good in The Interpreter that I have no doubts he’ll give a good performance in this series too. Also in the cast are Chen Shu, Gao Lu and Chen Muyang.

Clearly, this leans toward a more serious theme what with the heated arguments and serious problems but that doesn’t mean we won’t see romantic scenes along the way because the two leads are sure to fall for each other, so don’t fret since your lovelorn hearts will have something to look forward to! Although, if I were you, I’d prepare myself because from the looks of it, their relationship won’t be easy.
