Another story about finding long lost friends and foes that turn into loves, Thomas Tong Mengshi teams up with Angelina Jiang Yiyi to bring you You Are My Eternal Star 你是我的永恒星辰. Honestly, I don’t quite get the obsession with the coldly aloof but good looking male leads but the Return of the Condor Heroes alum plays one – the unapproachable e-sports “male god” Lu Yuheng to Angelina’s rookie news anchor Lin Xiaodi. By a twist of fate, sparks fly as the pair end up becoming roommates. If that sounds a little bit familiar to you, it sure does to me because it kinda reminded me of last year’s Put Your HeadOn My Shoulders with the aloof but handsome male and his cute female counterpart. All the more so that they end up living together due to circumstances and BOOM! Sparks.
Anyway, the pair will be joined by a young cast which includes Zhang Jiongmin, Zheng Miao, Men Dongyi, Xu Yifang, Liu Yitong and Tian Shuang.
