While her fans are probably feeling restless waiting for her comeback drama Legend of Fei, the beautiful momma Zhao Liying surprised them yesterday when she made an out of the blue appearance on her own Weibo’s super topic feature to chat with them.
To those of you who may not know, it’s akin to the subreddit of Reddit. Once you click on it, it’ll take you to another page where various users interact about a topic, kinda like a forum. Zhao Liying posted three random things before making her exit. She dropped in with a photo of a cat in shades to announce her arrival. The next photo shows the actress with an inflamed eye and her last was a photo to say goodbye. While Zhao Liying apologized for the condition of her eye, fans were worried about her and advised her to take a rest. They expressed their gratitude to the actress that despite her not feeling well, she still managed to interact with them.

Wow, it’s not all the time that your favorite celeb will take some time off their busy schedules just to drop by and say hello, right? Those small acts of kindness to fans are priceless. And might I just add that despite the inflammation, she still looks pretty.

It should be Lying Silkworm (卧蚕). Chinese and Korean girls are super infatuated with it, it's called Aegyo Sal in Korean. American people don't like it and call them eye bags.
I really think the Lying Silkworm does make any unattractive girl look more attractive. But IMO, lots of the most beautiful C-actresses 10 years ago did not depend on having a Lying Silkworm and they are still more beautiful than modern girls. Like Rainie Yang, she is the cutest but she has none. Chen Hao, Ruby Lin, Lin Qin Xia, Joey Wong, they don't have it or maybe just a tiny little bit when they stretched their face or when they aged.

There was something wrong with her eye during the award ceremony too. She styled her hair to cover her eye. As someone who is currently having a mild eye infection, I feel you ZLY.

ZLY and YM was being compared endlessly because they finally stood next to each other at the Tencent awards. There's always been rumors the 2 do not get along so it's possible ZLY wants to hide her face to avoid comparisons.
ZLY fans attack YM online that YM is uglier, messy hair and skin not good like ZLY. And YM fans try to fire back that ZLY was childish and only had one eye.

They look identical and I can't say one is prettier when they look the same. But afterall YM is the face that got famous first. Even their acting skills are the same because they do the same genres and fight for the same resources. The difference might just be their personalities.

Dang does anyone know how to explain these awards work? I feel bad for Yang Zi, the girl worked her ass off and never get a single award. Golden Eagle award has multiple awards she didn't get one, she was not even a nominee in the Magnolia award, and now Tencent award too.
Zhao Liying was not doing anything for a year already. Even Dilireba has been so quiet half a year too. Yang Mi also beings laying low profile these days, her recent projects didn't do well this year. Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo are new, didn't Zhao Liying fans say Wang Yibo has a long way to go before reaching her heights? If he is nominated, then why there are no new actresses (or other new actors too) nominated as well?
