If you were one of those who went gaga over What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?, then here’s an early Christmas gift for you, Park Seo Joon’s new drama Itaewon Class has dropped a poster!
If I hadn’t known any better, I’d think the series is a light romance because of the intimate setting: Park Seo Joon standing in the backdrop of solemn lights and staring into the distance. But I can’t be more wrong because Itaewon Class has a bit of a dark story focusing on Park Seo Joon’s character’s fight against against those who made his life miserable and caused his father’s death. With a strong conviction, he starts his plan by setting up his own restaurant after his release from prison.
Wow, this man is like Gong Yoo, always choosing an interesting project. Anyway, I’ll make a confession here but I belong to the lesser population of K-drama fans who have not seen What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim? but I’ll be honest and say that the plot of his latest project has caught my attention. It is set to premiere on January 31, 2020.
