You know you’re true friends with someone if you can post ugly photos of each other with confidence. This was exactly the case with Keep Running cast members Chen He, Deng Chao, and Luhan who have been doing this as a sign of their friendship since 2015.
The trend of posing for ugly photos has been around since Luhan joined the cast of the popular variety show. It started out as just a dare for the losing team, even having the faces of the winning team members used as their Weibo profile picture. It was fun while it lasted but it has definitely caused a lot of confusion for netizens. They have maintained that tradition ever since except now that they just use one single photo of themselves looking ugly to be their profile picture.
Recently, Deng Chao issued an ‘ugly photo challenge’ to his former cast mates once more by sharing new photos taken with Chen He and Luhan. As a long-time fan of Keep Running, it made me happy to see these three members together again after missing out on the latest season of the variety show. It will be definitely interesting to see how the other members could join in the fun and how they could insert themselves in this silly tradition.
Seeing their ugly photos together gives me hope that they will be running again soon with more of these photos to entertain us. I mean, who can just get enough of seeing those ugly and cute poses too?
