When The Untamed 陈情令 was still airing, season 2 of the Mo Dao Zu Shi donghua was released in conjunction with the live action. Since then, there have been goodies from the show and one successful Thai fanmeet. It really feels like they’re milking it for all it’s worth and I don’t even mind.
As a final farewell, New Style Media has organized a one and only concert in China. It will be held at the Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park Gymnasium on Nov 1-2. Tickets go on sale starting October 12 through Maoyan.
The concert was actually announced long ago but the Thai fanmeet felt so much like a full concert that I wondered if the China concert was even happening so this is welcome news. While Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo’s participation are a given, I’m hoping that the organizers can bring everyone back this time instead of missing out a few important fols (ahem Xuan Lu). The event will be streamed exclusively on Tencent.
