Police procedurals and crime themed shows have always been my jam so Youku’s newly announced Stealth Walker玫瑰行者 which is scheduled to hit screens sometime next year certainly looks intriguing. But what is even more unique about the drama is the story’s focus on a female undercover officer who risks life and limb to expose a drug trafficking ring. While this might not sound so unique in drama land at all – heck in western shows this might be pretty common, this could actually be China’s first female undercover themed anti-drug drama.
Anyway, let’s talk about the players in the production. Actress Lin Peng (Masked) co-stars with Zheng Yecheng (Let’s Shake It) and Li Zifeng (Demon Catcher Zhong Kui) in the police drama. Jin Kaijie, Wei Jianlong, Luo Kang, Cai Die, Sun Yanxiang and Josephine Yu Silu have also been roped in to play supporting roles.
Produced by Lu Guoqiang, the drama held its boot ceremony on October 22 Though the show still has a long way to go before it finally sees the light of day. In the meantime, we’ll leave you with some fresh photos from the ceremony!

Zheng Ye Cheng seems to have lost a lot of weight and muscle since he was quite 'buffed up' in his previous dramas
