To commemorate actor Mark Chao’s birthday today, his studio released a bunch of photos as a treat for his fans. I’m sure his supporters all over the world miss seeing their beloved “Yehua” since the actor has been pretty much keeping a low profile as of late in the drama front. In fact, ever since breaking into the small screens with the show Black and White ten years ago, Mark has only ever appeared in a select handful of dramas, preferring to do films judging from his body of work throughout his career.
So aside from continuously bingeing on reruns of Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms until the wee hours of the morning just to see him, I really hope that an interesting script meeting all his criteria comes along (sooner than soon) to tempt him into making his drama comeback before long.
Meanwhile, viewers eager to have a glimpse of the actor can satisfy their hankering in his (hopefully) soon to be released drama Ordinary Glory and his new film spy thriller Saturday Fiction with veteran actress Gong Li that recently premiered in the Venice Film Festival which should be out by December 7th of this year.
Happy Birthday Mark Chao, we wish you great happiness, good health, success and good fortune. All the best on your birthday!
Seeing news of Mark and Janine next to each other reminds me how they use to date. Mark admired Janine alot then. He is now happily married. I hope Janine finds a good guy too.
