This week’s TV shows are a combination of old and new. While The Legendary Tavern has been taking the lead for the last couple of weeks, it seems that The King of Land Battle has snatched the first place on both show’s last week of airing and even reached a new high of 1.831%.
You Are My Answer is doing well on the 10 PM time slot though I can’t say the same for its rival, Kiss, Love, and Taste. Meanwhile, we have three dramas that piloted this week namely: Diplomatic Situation, On The Road, and Ji Dang. It looks like among the dramas to boost national pride, the military theme seems to be emerging as a favorite as Airborne Blade also fares well with 1.551% as its highest number to date.
The King of Land Battle also dominates the web rankings. Although When We Are Together did not do well in TV viewership, it stands second online. My Mowgli Boy is still in the third spot while recently premiered Airborne Blade takes the 4th spot. Meanwhile, Yang Zi and Ma Tianyu both enters our list ranking 1st and 10th respectively. Li Xian climbs in 4th spot while Yang Yang goes down to the 5th.

There's a really good drama airing right now on iqiyi named 'Waiting For You in The Future/我在未來等你'. It is adapted from a novel if I'm not mistaken and has a douban score of 7.7 at the moment. It's sadly not getting much attention though.
The drama is about a 37-year-old who travels back in time to 1998 and becomes the homeroom teacher of his 17-year-old self. Because of his decisions in the past, he lives a very lackluster life where he's unhappy and isn't living the way he wants to. So with this "second chance", he tries to change his life as well as his friends for the better since he hasn't found a way to travel back to the future.
The idea of the main plot isn't anything new and has been done many times. However, this drama is really down to earth and so relatable (minus the time travel element). I was
admittedly a bit worried since the main (younger version) lead is acting for his first time and gained fame from uploading tik tok videos (he has almost 19 million+ followers on douyin). However his acting is quite superb here and has wonderful chemistry with everyone, especially his older counterpart. There are many moments that get your heart throbbing and tearing up before you know it.
This is definitely going down as one of my favourite youth dramas. I just hope the last 12 episodes will be as good as the previous 24. Please definitely check it out, especially if you are into coming of age dramas or if you like simple, relatable dramas.
