I wonder how it feels like to wake up one day and realize that your memory bank is missing parts of it? That’s the very situation our male lead will have to face in the new series Walk Into Your Memory 走进你的记忆.
This 24-episode drama follows the story of An Ning, a cook/chef assistant who has the amazing ability to see the memories of other people. Le Coup De Foudre star Eden Zhao Zhiwei plays the rich CEO, Long Haoqian, who mysteriously loses a year’s worth of memories. Acting opposite him is Where the Lost Ones Go actress Cecilia Boey who takes up the role of our bubbly heroine An Ning.
At first, she is at odds with her boss (which I think is due to the number of accidental butt touching) but eventually helps him. Although they don’t get along, Haoqian really doesn’t have a choice but to ask for An Ning’s help. The two of them get to know each other in the process and I think it’s safe to say that a budding romance is to be expected!
If these two actors aren’t enough to get you interested, Wang Zhuocheng from The Untamed will also be appearing in the series as a super fan who in his pursuit of his idol, played by Tiffany Zhong Qi , finally wins her heart to become the boyfriend. Our last couple is a restaurant manager, played by Wu Yang and a head chef, played by Wei Wei.
Coming across this show made me want to watch it for two reasons: one, I am such a sucker for food-related shows! From anime to series, anything that has a cooking element in it catches my fancy. And two, the plot is fascinating. I gotta admit, the heroine’s ability is pretty cool, if we just ignore the little fact that it can also be a complete invasion of someone’s privacy. Still, this may be a drama to satisfy your romantic cravings.
