All good things must come to an end, but that doesn’t seem to be the case for the drama The Untamed who inspired a heart-warming real life epilogue from its fans.
In a fitting ode to the drama, fans of the two stars Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo made a sizeable half a million (500,000 RMB) yuan donation in support of Hope Primary School through the China Youth Development Foundation. Aimed to help children in poverty stricken areas, fans named their donation Bo Xiao Hope Primary School after the two actors. What an awesome way to send off their favourite drama don’t you think?
As followers of Chinese entertainment, we usually see reports of the latest celebrity run-ins with fans behaving badly (see this or this). In fact even Xiao Zhan recently found himself stuckin the tight confines of a revolving door because fans were blocking it to get photographs.
