Extramarital affairs have always been one of the most talked about things in showbiz. Celebrity couple Chen Sicheng and Tong Liya got married on January 16, 2014. However, Chen Sicheng was embroiled in a cheating scandal early 2017 and since then, rumors kept circulating that the couple would eventually head for divorce.
August 8 was Tong Liya’s 34th birthday. In keeping with his tradition of 8 years where he’s greeted her exactly when the clock strikes 12, Chen Sicheng posted a picture of his wife with the words, “People who work hard for their dreams are the the best. Jiayou, my wife! Happy Birthday Tong Liya.”
It can be noted that Tong Liya hasn’t bad any public interactions with Chen Sicheng on social media since 2016. This time however, Tong Liya surprisingly responded with the arm flexing emoticon to show support. Considering she didn’t reply when her husband greeted her last year, I’d like to think that things are getting better between them.
