Fresh off the success of her drama Put Your Head On My Shoulder, actress Xing Fei will still continue to delight fans and audiences in the small screens as her drama Your Highness Class Monitor 班长“殿下” is set to air soon. The series is a 36 episode adaptation of the novel 蜜爱百分百：校草的专属甜心 by An Xiangnuan 安向暖. The quirky gal stars as class monitor Su Niannian opposite actor Niu Junfeng‘s portrayal of her nemesis Gu Xinchen.
Su Niannian has her heart set on getting into the most prestigious universities in Beijing. But things didn’t exactly go according to plan on exam day due to a traffic accident involving rich boy Gu Xinchen which led to her missing the entrance exams completely! Left with no other option, Su Niannian finds herself studying engineering in an ordinary university she didn’t like and classmates she despised, waiting for the day she can finally transfer schools. To further rub salt into the wound, who does she find also studying in the same school but her nemesis. As Niannian and Xinchen clash in a battle of wills, love unexpectedly blooms and the pair go from foes to romantic lovers.
The filming for Your Highness Class Monitor was actually completed two years ago in 2017 but will only be seeing the light of day this year. And while the series definitely has similarities in genre to Put Your Head On My Shoulder in that it’s once again a campus love story, let’s see how Xing Fei will breathe new life into her character as she reprises her university student role once again and her onscreen chemistry with rising star Niu Junfeng (who we recently saw in The Brightest Star in the Night Sky) in this new drama. It also stars Liu Yuhang, Yang Xinying, Wang Yizhou, Jiang Lai and Elvis Ma Li.
