When Chinese Paladin 3 仙剑奇侠传3 aired back in 2009, it starred Hu Ge as Jing Tian, Yang Mi as Tang Xuejian, Tiffany Tang Yan as Zi Xuan, Cecilia Liu Shishi as Long Kui and Wallace Huo as Xu Changqing. It has been 10 years since then and nobody would’ve imagined that all five of them would become such big names in the showbiz industry.

Largely known as a xianxia actor after having his start in the original Chinese Paladin, Hu Ge cemented his star status in the critically-acclaimed Nirvana In Fire. He has also shown his versatility as an actor and ventured into theater with A Dream Like A Dream in 2013. As proof of his marketability and success, Hu Ge is a well-respected and well-liked actor even as he took a break from showbiz to go on hiatus and hasn’t had a drama since. He has filmed a few movies after his return which many are anticipating.

Yang Mi has also become a household name as one of the highest paid Chinese actresses in recent years. Already no stranger to playing a goddess in Chinese Paladin 3, Yang Mi has reached a new level of fame as the fox goddess Bai Qian in Ten Miles Of Peach Blossoms. Many also credit her for being one of the founders of Jaywalk Studio and for helping push the careers of fellow artists under the agency that include Dilraba Dilmurat and Vin Zhang.

Although she was more of a supporting role in Chinese Paladin 3, Liu Shishi won over many fans with her portrayal of Long Kui and the two polar extremes of the character. In 2011, she took Asia by storm with the palace drama Scarlet Heart and made every shippers wish come true when she got hitched to her onscreen partner Nicky Wu. The couple are also expecting their first child.

Wallace Huo started out in Taiwanese idol dramas since way before Chinese Paladin 3. In 2011, he became a hero thief in The Vigilantes In Masks and a cold-hearted emperor in The Glamorous Imperial Concubine, both of which were loved by audiences. It’s funny how things have a way of working out as he ended up marrying his The Glamorous Imperial Concubine co-star Ruby Lin in 2016. More recently, Wallace was the emperor in Ruyi’s Royal Love In The Palace.
Aside from acting opposite Tang Yan, he has been paired with the remaining two Chinese Paladin 3 ladies as Liu Shishi’s leading man in Imperial Doctress. He will soon be romancing Yang Mi in the upcoming drama The Great Craftsman.

Tang Yan’s popularity took off after Chinese Paladin 3. There were rumors that she was supposed to play Yang Mi’s character in the drama, but portraying the role of Zi Xuan worked out just fine for the actress who went from supporting roles to leading lady. In 2015, she starred in several successful dramas such as Diamond Lover and My Sunshine. In 2016, she was the regal princess in Princess Weiyoung opposite then co-star, now husband Luo Jin. They also starred together in The Way We Were last year.

To many of us that grew up watching Chinese Paladin, the cast has proven that they indeed have what it takes as they continue to grow as actors and actresses. Many of them have also entered new chapters in their personal lives and here’s me wishing them more success.

They all made it big. Everybody made it big from Chinese Paladin 1 as well.
I missed it so much how Chinese Paladin 1&3 are Xianxia but they did not ridiculously overfilter everybody's faces so the actors&actresses look like actual human. You can enjoy how natural they look and it isn't bothersomme.
Also, the stories are not 1 male/1 female centric while everyone else are only annoying villains and minions. The reason why everyone made it big is because they all played their own "role", all roles were important and essential to the story.

I still prefer Chinese Paladin 1. What a classic!
