My Poseidon 我的波塞冬 is a 40 episode adaptation of the novel of the same name authored by Miao Juan 缪娟. The series stars Eleanor Lee as An Fei and Leon Zhang as Ye Hai in a modern day version of the love story between Poseidon and Amphitrite.
If you know your Greek mythology, you’ll know who I’m talking about alright – the god of the sea, earthquakes and horses (yes, THAT Poseidon) and his wife, the sea goddess Amphitrite. So it’s only fitting that in the modern day adaptation of the story, the sea plays some part in the story as well. Also playing supporting roles in the series are Johnny Zhang Junning (as Mo Liang), Sui Yu Meng (as Liu Lan), Long Zheng Xuan (as Lin Hua Yin) and Dean Liu (as Ye Tian).
An Fei is a marine biology student who is attracted to the talented scientist, Mo Liang (Johnny Zhang). She aspires to one day become a top marine researcher responsible for the protection of the oceans. Her life is disrupted when she makes the acquaintance of Ye Hai, a young man whose sudden appearance in her life seems to bring her bad luck.
To her vexation, Ye Hai not only opposes the experimental project helmed by Mo Liang which he says has the potential to harm the oceans, he also calls dibs on An Fei whom he claims is his wife! Of course An Fei (like any sane woman would, hello) tries to avoid the strange and arrogant Ye Hai – that is, until she realises that he may be right after all. As memories of their time together as Poseidon and Amphitrite surface, it seems they are pre-destined to be lovers and partners for all time in the protection of the seas.

Can't wait to see this one. I read the book and got too busy to finish it, but I like the main lead and main actress. But I thought the main actress was still very young in her teens, has she grown? For sure, the male lead is an adult. He finally has a main lead….I am still waiting on his drama with Lin Qin and Shawn Dou, " Tears in Heaven," Why is that drama still on the shelves???

Zhu Wen Long and Zhang Bin Bin looks totally different. Their face shape is different and features are totally different. Zhang Bin Bin has a longer face than Zhu wen long, he has a smaller face. Zhu Wen Long has a very teenager youthful look to him. Zhang Bin Bin has that more mature adult look to him. How in the world, did you think they look the same?

I didn't say they look the same I just said 'similar features' I don't even know the actor it was just based on the poster I saw. Based on the poster I saw I thought their nose and lips looked similar.

just finished watching my Poseidon . start from the beginning already got my attention. the storyline is good and the all casts did the good job. me and all my friends love this show.

it says here that its a 40 episode series… why is the finale only 34 episodes…?? what happened??? and i kinda not yet satisfied with the lack of poseidon and amphritite story….
