Novoland: Castle in the Sky 2九州·天空城II has officially wrapped filming. Jeremy Jones completed his scenes a few days earlier while his leading lady Uvin Wang Yuwen only wrapped today.
With Novoland: Eagle Flag looking like a movie production and A-list actress Yang Mi confirmed for Novoland: Pearl Eclipse, I really hope that Novoland: Castle in the Sky 2九州·天空城II gets to air sooner to avoid a run in with the other Novolands and give its lesser known cast a better chance to shine.
In an all white costume, Jeremy Jones is the opposite of his breakout role as the cunning Yuwen Hu in The Legend of Dugu. I’m quite happy to see him stepping into leading roles which is why this may be the rare time that I really don’t mind that the original cast did not return. Moreover, the sequel is about the next generation and follows Feng Tianyi and Yi Fuling’s daughter. Other casts include Li Muchen, Wang Ziqi, Dai Wenwen, Li Daikun and Zi Ge.

i like the poster. at least this looks better than the first novoland: castle in the sky which look too greasy and idol-ish. the storyline of the first one sucks anyway.

Castle in the Sky series seems abit more low-budget compared to the other Novoland series.
