A spin-off of Yang Zi Shan and Elvis Han‘s Never Gone: So You Are Still Here 原来你还在这里 starts airing on Nov. 10. The story focuses on the younger versions of the characters played by Hu Xian Xu and Li Lan Di.
Though both are teen actors, we have seen Hu Xian Xu as the young Prince Yong Cheng in Ruyi’s Royal Love in the Palace and many other dramas. Meanwhile, Li Lan Di played the lead roles in My Huckleberry Friends and Wu Xin: The Monster Killer II.

Never Gone is an adaptation of Xin Yiwu’s popular novel about two lovers from different backgrounds. Su Yun Jin and Cheng Zheng meet in high school. Cheng Zheng is a popular student with looks, brains and money while Su Yun Jin is from a poor family. Cheng Zheng pursues Yun Jin through college and the two get together, however, several misunderstandings split them apart.
The spin-off centers around their school life. As a transfer student, Yun Jin already has too much on her plate even without Mr. School Prince buzzing around her. We get to see Cheng Zheng’s pursuit of Yun Jin and though it brings her a lot of trouble Cheng Zheng also helps her out in most situations.

I'm excited. I enjoyed the younger version proportion of the drama a lot. Was really sad when it ended lol.

I like the drama version a lot. Younger counterparts of Han DongJun and Zhang ZiShan are such promising young actors. It really is important to have actors with acting skills to pull off the characters emotion to have viewers sympathize and fall for them. Even if the story is nothing new, actors are doing such a great job. Elvis is perfect as seemingly perfect, handsome and rich Cheng Zheng .Currently following Never Gone and Ever Night .I finally have dramas that keep me interested since Ashes of Love ended.

The first three episodes are scenes shown in the first few episodes of the drama. Nothing new.
Have to wait for next week's episodes to see if they added more scenes.
Really enjoying Never Gone right now. One of the rare Chinese modern romance dramas with good acting and storyline. Watched the film version yesterday while waiting for new episodes… and despite liking Kris and Liu Yifei's visuals, the film was one of the worst I've ever seen.
