Novoland: The Castle in the Sky 九州天空城 launched a sequel to continue the story of Feng Tian Yi and Yi Fuling many years later. Before you get all excited, I have to tell you first that the main cast won’t be returning. While the story still centers around the Ren Tribe (Human) and the Yu Tribe (Winged), Feng Ruche is the new heroine. She is Feng Tianyi and Yi Fuling’s daughter whose fate is intertwined with the greatest magician of Lanzhou.
The new cast stars Jeremy Tsui (The Legend of Dugu), Uvin Wang Yuwen (Rush to the Dead Summer) , Daisy Li Muchen, Wang Ziqi (Love Is In The Air), and Zi Ge.
They already started filming this October 17th, I don’t have a more detailed plot for you but I’m crossing my fingers that it’s as good or much greater than Season 1. Oh, and it’s a new generation and all, but I’m still hoping for a cameo, especially from Zhang Ruoyun and Guan Xiaotong. Season 2 is still produced by Tencent.
