Together we stand. Xiaozi and the F3 visit Shan Cai to persuade her to give up on Dao Mingsi. They want her to convince Dao Mingsi to eat again and the only way she’ll be allowed to meet him is if she promises to let him go. Shan Cai agrees but Dao Mingfeng only lets Shan Cai talk to Dao Mingsi from outside his room.
Shan Cai tells Dao Mingsi that she never really liked him, but after everything that they’ve been through, Dao Mingsi already that it’s a lie and that Shan Cai really loves him. He wants to fight for the times they shared and he hopes that she will be on his side. Shan Cai realizes what she must do as she’s not the type to quit when times are hard. In a show of solidarity, she also goes on a hunger strike as she stands outside the Daoming mansion to wait for Dao Mingsi.
Marriage with benefits. Xiaozi knows that marrying Dao Mingsi is her only chance of being with him and also the only way to save the Daoming Group. If she doesn’t do this, it will all be over for Dao Mingfeng. However, she also doesn’t want to ruin her best friend’s love life so at the end, she calls her parents to tell them that she refuses to marry Dao Mingsi no matter what happens.
True friends. Lei suddenly remembers that Dao Mingsi had cooked up a plan to save the Daoming Group. With this plan, Dao Mingfeng will surely have no reason to force Dao Mingsi to marry Xiaozi. The F3 carry out the plan to revive the company.
An exhausted mother. After hearing about Dao Mingsi’s business plan, Dao Mingfeng faints and sleeps for seven days straight. I think she’s really stressed out from running the company all these years. She finally agrees for Dao Mingsi to continue seeing Shan Cai after seeing how much he has grown because of her.
