Heavy Sweetness Ash-like Frost and The Evolution of Our Love premiered last night. The latter has yet to report numbers, but the former has surged through 100 million views just 15 minutes after it was released.
Ever since it premiered on July 6, The Drug Hunter has climbed the ranks to be the leading drama online for 11 days and it has recently surpassed 7 billion views.
Sweet Combat which is one of the newer dramas on the list also leads online as it recently crossed 3 billion views.
There has been no updates since Legend of Fuyao crossed 10 billion views last week. Although no longer the number one drama according to online rankings, it has accumulated the most amount of views among all the summer dramas. Update: This just in! Fuyao has 12 billion views and counting!
Interestingly, there has been an unexpected update from a show from two years ago. Three Lives Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms which became a mega hit drama in 2017 has surpassed 50 billion views in China.
Story of Yanxi Palace continues to rank well as it reaches 2 billion views.
Meteor Garden has not released a new update, but the show which has passed 2 billion views since last week has certainly made its mark online and performs quite at par with the other youth dramas airing this summer.
Sand Sea which has been on air for 2 weeks has reached 1 billion views.
Legend of Yunxi which premiered over a month ago has reached 2.4 billion views.
Bloody Romance hasn’t made a big splash in numbers, but the show has been garnering a strong cult following among avid fans (myself included). It has reached 400 million views after over a week of airing.

Happy to see Fuyao still do good and double congrats to Yang Mi, Mark C, cast and crew is TMOPB in getting views one year later! 50 billion is way up there! Is it the highest ever for a Cdrama? After Fuyao, I need a little break from Cdrama but would watch some of these new ones of reviews are good.

So many C viewers are also waiting for HSALF to be premiered including myself. After watching the first two eps, the CGs are on similar level with 3L3W. For fantasy dramas like 3L3W and HSALF, they rely quite heavily on CG due to the settings that the novel takes place like Heaven, Flower World, Demon World, etc. I find Jin Mi’s voice dubbing to be a little unmatched for some reason, other than that I am enjoying the progress so far. Jin Mi in the novel is oblivious to her feelings in the beginning and Yang Zi is portraying her well. I can see Jin Mi in Yang Zi and Phoenix as Deung Lun. Seeing as it’s 60eps, I am getting ready for all the angst and frustration in coming eps. I am already annoyed at Sui He in the drama, I don’t find myself hating her too much in the novel. I just hoping the drama doesn’t drag too much in the middle and fairly stick close to the novel.
Congrats on 3L3W hitting 50 billion views. Those two dramas are quite different in terms of story-telling other than both have gods and deity characters. I guess the comparison will be inevitable since both dramas fall under the fantasy genre. One of the main reasons 3L3W hitting so big contributes a lot in Mark’s Ye Hua, coz all the female viewers fall so hard for Ye Hua and even Mo Yuan. His acting is that good.

I also later found out that Yang Zi and Deng Lun dubbed their own voices. I am used to YangZi’s voice now. I think due to her character being very naive and dense, she is kinda speaking like a child. I a.m. looking forward to how she will change once she figures out she loves Xue Feng.
