The most awaited Meteor Garden 2018 held another presscon on July 5 in Beijing. The cast and crew led by Shen Yue and the new F4 were present, but producer Angie Chai was not able to attend due to personal reasons. It’s amazing how the cast especially the boys have become so recognizable from hype around the drama alone.
During the presscon, our cast brought out their creativity as they introduced themselves. Each of them then had a romantic punch line, however, it seems that our Dao Mingsi (Dylan Wang) forgot part of his lines which was quite funny but cute.
After that, they shared their struggles and experiences when shooting the drama. Shen Yue says that portraying Shan Cai was one of the most challenging and demanding roles she has taken. In response to younger viewers and even Barbie Hsu who played the original Shan Cai finding the character annoying, Shen Yue shares that being close in age to Shan Cai, she can understand the character’s motivations and vouches that the heroine in this version is not very green tea.
Meteor Garden 2018 will be showing this July 9.

I hope they’ll live up to the hype though I’ve seen a lot of skeptical people already. This ver gives an entire different feeling which can be good or bad, i guess we’ll see. Btw Elvis Han’s Back to Twenties is pretty good! Go watch it guys

I don't like the plot and Shen Yue is meh. Will probably give this a miss.
