A healthy dose of nostalgia is set to hit the screens!
Just last year, Angie Chai announced a remake of Meteor Garden 流星花园 , the drama that took Asian TV by storm back in the early 2000’s. A story of a poor teenage girl — Dong ShanCai, clashes head on with the rich and arrogant Dao MingSi. As she stands up for others and for herself, she does not only gain the respect of Dao MingSi; slowly, she also gains his love and admiration. In the end, not only does ShanCai fall in love with Dao MingSi, so did I and the rest of the world. I can’t wait to fall in love once more.
This year, ready your tissues as Dong ShanCai (Shen Yue), Dao MingSi (Dylan Wang), Hua ZeLei (Darren Chen), Feng MeiZuo (Connor Leong), and Xi MenYan (Caesar Wu) are sure to tug at your heartstrings.
It will air beginning July 9 on Hunan TV and Mango TV. The show will take over the Monday to Wednesday 10pm slot for Meet In Youth Love in Foods on Hunan TV after it ends!

Will skip the meteor garden remake since I have already watched too many versions of Hana Yori Dango (boys over flowers, literal meaning of dango is sticky rice mochi balls). I have also watched meteor shower 1 and 2.
