So we’ve been hearing about the June 18th air date for some time now, and the show has finally confirmed the date via their official weibo to say that yes, it really is coming! Legend of Fuyao 扶摇皇后 will be taking the after-primetime slot to air two episodes each night from Monday to Thursday at 10pm.
It stars Yang Mi (Negotiator), Ethan Ruan (Candle in the Tomb 2), Vengo Gao (Xuan Yuan Sword), Lai Yi (The King’s Avatar), Zhang Yaqin (20 Once Again), Hu Ke (Super Dad and Super Kids) and Jiang Long (Love Is More Than A Word). Apart from the younger cast, industry veterans Liu Yi Jun and Wang Jinsong who both had outstanding performances as the Marquises in Nirvana in Fire are making special appearances in the drama. With the hype, the fantasy and the big summer premiere, everything about it seems to spell a hit. I’d be really shocked if this doesn’t do well.
