Happy Camp 快乐大本营 is a family of five once again as Xie Na ends her hiatus to be reunited with He Jiong, Li Weijia, Du Haitao and Wu Xin. As one of the show’s most beloved hosts and being the first person to ever reach 100 million fans on weibo, Xie Na’s much-anticipated return was emotional and heartwarming.
Last night’s episode topped the CSM ratings on television and generated the most views online. Xie Na’s return also happened to coincide with her birthday weekend. She turned 37 today and the show celebrated early complete with a birthday cake and presents.
Being the variety queen that she is, Xie Na managed to elicit a laugh when she took a little too long to make a wish. He Jiong joked at the awkwardly long moment of silence and said that he couldn’t really step in to ruin the moment (see video). Happy Camp airs every Saturday at 8:20pm on Hunan TV and Mango TV.
