Jing Tian is back to dramas after a number of stints in Hollywood. She just posted couple pictures with Chen Xiao where the highly-visual pair are compatible to boot. But wait, she’s taken and he’s married, what’s going on? The reason that they are together is because she finally joins filming for their upcoming drama A Journey to Meet Love 一场遇见爱情的旅行 where she plays the ordinary woman who crosses paths with an undercover cop.
In the meantime, The Geek is on the Run 极客江湖 pairs Jing Tian opposite Aarif Lee. Chen Xiao had to attend the booting ceremony solo while Jing Tian was still filming this drama at the time. Now that things have wrapped, the show has dropped its first stills. I guess putting a pair of big-rimmed glasses and an oversized coat is supposed to help Jing Tian achieve the geeky look. Her character has Asperger Syndrome and is only interested in technology. Her character here sounds a lot more interesting but between the two, I am putting my bets on the one with the undercover cop, especially when it’s played by someone like Chen Xiao.

Her character in the drama with Aarif Lee definitely sounds more interesting but I'm very sceptical of an accurate portrayal of a character with Asperger's. I mean the English translation of the title alone and the way they've dressed her make me sceptical.
