Shen Yue’s story feels like a fairytale come true because it’s certainly not everyday that an actress can rise to stardom after one drama and follow it up by clinching the lead in Meteor Garden which is THE drama that everyone is waiting for. The 21-year-old wasn’t even planning on going into acting as she was interested in photography. Two years ago, she was an intern on Mango TV and was lugging around a video camera filming interviews.
Shen Yue has continued to gain attention since A Love So Beautiful and she recently flew to Changsha to film her an episode of the variety show Happy Camp where she will be guesting for the very first time. Returning to the network is definitely a homecoming for the former intern who is no longer working behind the scenes. She was pictured visiting the office armed with a giant backpack and bags of snacks. Seriously, I already find her so adorable in real life. I think she’s going to be awesome as Shan Cai.

I like her too! I think she can pull of Shancai but the trailer for the new Meteor Shower doesnt rlly look promising. You cant tell about their acting but sth is missing, and some outfit choices are a bit outdated lol hopefully the drama will surprise me
