Hope All Is Well With Us 我们都要好好的 brings together an interesting mix of cast. Ode to Joy stars Liu Tao and Yang Shuo revive their much-loved pairing to play a married couple. Child star Hummer Zhang Yihan who is most recognizable for his role in Eternal Love will be playing their son. Yet the most glaring cracks in the family picture is the presence of Gina Jin and Liu Duanduan. She is the younger woman clinging onto the husband while he is the younger man holding onto the wife.
I’m kind of hoping that there’s no actual cheating involved though it looks like it’s still going to be a melo either way. It’s the classic story of rich girl and poor guy who marry against all odds until they realize that their relationship is already on the rocks. I have to say.. they really did a great job with the posters. Even through the still images, the emotions feel raw and real.
