The popular Chinese variety show Keep Running is finally back with a new season complete with its seven main members. However, Li Chen had to leave filming early yesterday after injuring his forehead during a segment where they were tossing graduations caps in the air. The doctor on-call administered first aid immediately, but Li Chen was still sent to the hospital just in case.
His studio released a statement thanking everyone for their concern, saying that Li Chen has already gotten the treatment that he needed and that he will be back soon. Looking at the pics posted by Fan Bing Bing’s stylist, it looks painful. Apparently, he had to get nine stitches in total. Li Chen’s fiancee Fan Bing Bing couldn’t help but joke about adding on a lightning scar.”
Seriously, who knew graduation caps were dangerous? Li Chen writes on weibo, “Didn’t know before, everyone be careful next time, when there are a lot of people be careful when tossing the graduation cap…”
