There’s been a flurry of activity involving the upcoming drama adaptation of Irreplaceable Love 初晨是我故意忘记你 which is based on a novel of the same name by Zi Yue 籽月. Sun Yi (Because Of Meeting You) and Bai Jingting (Rush to the Dead Summer) were just confirmed as the leads when both turned up for the opening ceremony yesterday to commence filming.
It will be Sun Yi’s first comeback drama since giving birth and Bai Jingting’s return to modern dramas after playing a supporting role in The Rise of the Phoenixes.
I like both leads especially Sun Yi who can be seen in the currently airing Siege in Fog. It seems unimaginable to think than anything can out-angst Siege but this drama can definitely be a contender.
It starts with a main protagonist who is already a tortured soul to begin with having lost both of his parents at a young age. He meets the heroine and her little brother, but little brother dies. In order to help the sister cope, he basically assumes the role of the little brother, all while being in love with his ‘sister’.

I really like both of them as actors and it's good to see Sun Yi come back to acting but that plot sounds like such a melodramatic mess.

Me too. Sun yi and bai jing ting are one of my favorite artists so it is soooooooo exciting for me to see them collaborate Can't wait to watch this drama totally looking forward (hope it doesn't disappoint me)

Hahaha. Damn! I liked everyone of Sun Yi's works so far, so I believe this won't disappoint. But Siege in Fog is already so angsty! Hahaha. I'll probably pick it up, but still! Can the girl pick something happy like Because of Meeting You again? 😛
