Aww, this post comes a bit late but we’ve got one more happy news to add to the newborns and newly-engaged. Gillian Chung who turned 37 last month uploaded photos of her birthday celebration captioned, “This is the best gift I received on my Lunar birthday. Thank you for your love. Next stop is happiness.”
Among the pictures is a diamond ring from her boyfriend Michael Lai who had gotten down on one knee to propose to her on her birthday. The pair have reportedly been dating for six months and had to make the long-distance relationship work as Gillian Chung lives in Hong Kong while her soon-to-be-husband ives in Taiwan. Although a non-celebrity, Michael Lai is an established doctor with quite a lot of celebrity friends.
Both had experienced being on the news for past relationships. Michael Lai was previously married before too though it’s heartening that the couple have found each other and are starting a new chapter in their lives. Congrats!
