Whaddayaknow? Aside from the drama comes a rumored movie version of Three Lives Three Worlds The Pillow Book 三生三世枕上书. There are no names attached to it yet except for a poster floating around the web. If it’s anything like Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms and its movie counterpart, then I’d rather put my money on what’s familiar and stick to the drama. The movie will most likely to feature a different cast as it is a different production altogether.

woaw they really do come in pairs, the adaptations of the book in a movie and a cdrama 😛 i do look forward to it bur obviously and most likely i will like the drama more than the movie

I am actually interested in seeing different people playing these roles. I am curious about the cast since they will probably have to get a younger audience than the usual post 85 actresses. Out of the younger girls there are not many that can headline this, which means they will probably have to get a very popular guy.

Not too convinced about the film remake. Liu Yifei and Yang Yang were literal visual perfection but their film sucked. IPs like this need a drama to fully flesh out the characters and storyline.
