I know I’ve talked nonstop about Tribes and Empires and how it reminds me of Game of Thrones but Wu Lei’s upcoming fantasy epic Asura: The Realm of Desire, The Beginning of a Legend 阿修罗 seems like it would be right up there in production value and cinematography. It even has someone who looks like an Asian Daenerys ?. Joining him in the cast are esteemed veterans Tony Leung Ka-Fai, Carina Lau and newcomer Zhang Yi Shang. The last Asura poster is about a mysterious entity played by Wang Tiechun. The movie is expected to air in the summer of 2018.
