Xing Zhao Lin is back to costume dramas with Wen Tian Lu 问天录 where he plays the mythological hero Zhong Kui. I distinctly remember one other drama with rising star Yang Xu Wen that’s also based on the same character so I guess the more the merrier? Filming is ongoing in Ningbo Xiangshan and Xing Zhao Ling fans seem like the sweetest bunch as they surprised him on the set bearing gifts – one hundred gift bags for the crew that contain hand cream, heat packs and eye mask, not to mention a food truck serving pearl milk tea, lemon tea, fruits and snacks. Cast members, the production team and other staff received separate gifts as well while Xing Zhao Lin’s was a care package of goodies and a Bvlgari perfume.
The pictures below are just from the first event as there was a second one held by his official fan club. His leading lady played by Jian Ren Zi is also gaining attention as of late as she plays opposite Hu Ge in Game of Hunting.
