“The Fated General” wraps after more than a year of filming

The Fated General 大漠骠骑霍去病 has dropped a new batch of stills on Nov 6, 2017 to celebrate their last day of filming. It took the cast and 442 days to get there, which is longer than the average costume drama which often films for around three to four months. Even Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy which boasted a insanely high production values wrapped in 8 months, which goes to show that 14 months is quite a lot of hours.

I actually appreciate that the production team took its time as opposed to crunching out the drama because they can, and I’m hoping that this will be good. It stars Zhang Ruo Yun (The Evolution of Love), Mao Xiao Tong (Delicious Destiny), Alan Yu (Xuan Yuan Sword), Bai Yu (Memory Lost) and Victor Huang (Legend of Kaifeng). Yup, this looks promising already.
