We’re one small step closer to Legend of Fuyao 扶摇皇后 as it wraps today after 150 days of filming to begin post-production. I don’t think this really needs any further introduction as it is Yang Mi’s much awaited return to period dramas after Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. Everyone gathered around for the mandatory group picture, all smiles, holding up v signs with maybe a few casualties from a cake fight, and each of the main cast members also posted a few words on weibo.
Like a boss, Yang Mi said, “It’s a wrap, everyone worked hard, love you all.”
Ethan Ruan said, “It’s a wrap! Thank you everyone, draws heart.”
Zhang Ya Qin addressed her character, “You have your own persistence and your own soul – strong, brave, and completely determined. Such a great Ya Lan Zhu, thank you for the five months of growth and companionship.
Lion Lai Yi took a more sentimental turn as he said, “So happy to be able to join the heartwarming family of Fuyao. In becoming Gong Yue within these 150 days, there were many laughter and tears. Most importantly, I met many talented and good seniors and good friends. Thankful for this beautiful moment, wish everyone a happy last day of filming! Looking forward for Fuyao to do well in ratings.”
