Reintroduced as Growling Tiger, Roaring Dragon 虎嘯龍吟, season two of The Advisors Alliance 軍師聯盟 premieres December 7, 2017 on Youku and returns with a mix of old and new entrants in the latter half of the Three Kingdoms Era. Wu Xiu Bo plays Sima Yi, an official of Wei Kingdom and the eventual founder of the Western Jin Dynasty. He has a long history with Cao Wei as he has served three generations of the Cao Family before emerging as the final victor.
Wang Luo Yong plays Zhuge Liang, the most accomplished political and military strategist during the Three Kingdoms Era. He devoted his life towards Han and earned the nickname Fu Long which translates to Crouching Dragon. He is Sima Yi’s nemesis and worthy opponent.
Liu Tao as Zhang Chun Hua. She is Queen Mu of the Western Jin Dynasty. She is known throughout history as a ruthless woman, but she is gallant and heroic.
Li Chen as Cao Pi, one of Cao Cao’s sons. After fighting tooth and nail over the line of succession, he inherited Cao Wei from his father and eventually broke away from Han Rule to declare himself as King.
Janine Chang as Bo Ling Jun, the second wife of Sima Yi. Sima Yi was forced by circumstances to take her in as his wife, yet she is beautiful and intelligent and becomes Zhang Chun Hua’s rival in love.
Tina Tang as Guo Zhao, the wife of Cao Pi and his queen.
Liu Huan as Cao Rui, the son and successor of Cao Pi. He is more calculating and cunning than his own father and grandfather.
Xiao Shun Yao as Sima Shi, the eldest son of Sima Yi. He is his father’s most trustworthy assistant. He is honest and kind, developing a favorable relationship with most people.
Tan Jian Ci as Sima Zhao, the second son of Sima Yi. He possesses his father’s political talents and grows comparable to him in intelligence. He is driven, ambitious and cunning, more so than his father.
Lai Xi as Hou Ji, the stewart of the Sima family. He is like another family member to them and a lifelong companion who wholeheartedly wishes for the safety and wellbeing of those that he serves.
