OCTB 反黑 is a 30-episode Youku webdrama that follows a former undercover who rejoins the underworld to complete one more mission. Jordan Chan takes the lead as the main protagonist who goes by the gangster name Phoenix. It’s a much fancier bird than Chicken, but it’s undoubtedly a nod to his iconic portrayal in the 1990’s Young and Dangerous franchise that is being revered as a cult classic to this day.
Aside from Jordan Chan, the show pays tribute to a much-loved generation of Hong Kong entertainment as it brings together a team of powerhouse veterans from Hugo Ng to Ng Man-Tat. The cast includes Jordan Chan, Danny Chan, Sam Lee, Alan Kuo, Ken Wong, Samuel Pang, Rose Chan and Justin Cheung.
Chen Feng Xiang (Jordan Chan) has been working a desk job ever since he successfully took down a crime syndicate eight years ago. However, one of his lackeys (Justin Cheung) has since become the new head honcho. Due to their connection in the past, Chen Feng Xiang gets pulled back into the dangerous world and must come face to face with familiar faces who were once friends and foes. The story takes place three years before the return of Hong Kong to China as the triads are planning something big.
As most crime thrillers go, this one is also not without its fair share of lovelines. Despite the cast being mostly from Hong Kong, rising star Chen Yating who’s from Wuhan, China plays Jordan Chan’s love interest.

Thank you for posting about this show … I can barely find anything about it on the net (in English). It is def. a nod to old school HK movies and TV show … I am really enjoying the series …
thanks for your comments. I'm a big fan of the old school too. It's party why I don't watch that many new ones now:)
Im enjoying this series a lot. Jordan is carrying the series well. As compared to Line Walker 2, im starting to get tired of the undercover switcheroos and alliances, an old rehashed version of Laughing Gor in my opinion
