The Dark Lord 夜天子 has dropped posters of the cast led by Joe Xu Hai Qiao, Lareina Song Zu Er, Wang Zitong and Fei Long. It’s a webdrama that follows the story of an unassuming prison guard in Liu Shan Men, a government organization during the Ming Dynasty. Liu Shan Men seems to be a popular setting in wuxia and it was most recently made into a drama starring Raymond Lam and Dilraba Dilmurat.

This one boasts a huge ensemble of new and familiar faces with the veterans being quite recognizable as it includes Gallen Lo, Hong Jian Tao, Liu Pei Qi, Fang Qing Ping and Chen Zihan. I can’t say that I’m particularly interested in the cast, but judging from the stills, it looks legit, and I’m really in the mood for a good wuxia series!
