As this week’s top three, Guo Min Da Sheng Huo, Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion and Qing Man Si He Yuan (which is not in the ratings table below as it’s a rerun) are quite evenly matched as they dabble within the 1.0% range. Hunan TV’s new primetime show Te Qin Jing Ying has some catching up to do at 0.6% though it could be attributed to the fact that it has just premiered.
Meanwhile, Xuan Yuan Sword: Legend of the Han Clouds starring Leon Zhang and Alan Yu Menglong has been taken off the air for two weeks to resume airing Wednesday, November 1 on Dragon TV (its web broadcast on iQiYi is unaffected). I’ve dropped the show due its repetitive plots, but I feel bad that’s it’s had to deal with multiple schedule changes through the course of its run. Inasmuch as I’m not watching, the bromance continues to be intriguing.
On to the web rankings, Huang Zitao’s A Chinese Odyssey: Love of Eternity shot up to first place in terms of online views while Day and Night moved up to third along with its main protagonist Pan Yueming who has also topped the weekly celeb rankings. Starry Night Starry Sea Season 2 seems to be pulling in significantly lower numbers compared to season one despite taking the same slot as its predecessor on Hunan TV, but at least it has made it into the weekly web rankings.
