There have been talks of the switcheroo, but nothing as concrete as netizens spotting Zhang Han in the thick of filming (with pictures too). Here to Heart 温暖的弦 is a romance drama based on the novel Warm Chord by An Ning 安宁. I don’t know what went on behind the scenes but it looks as though Huang Xiaoming who was hinted as the lead early on with his unmistakeable jawline and cleft chin is really out of the picture.
Zhang Han joins the cast instead to reunite with Janine Chang four years after they played a couple in The Four. I thought that they had cute chemistry then, so it’s ultimately a nice surprise to see them together again. The movie Wolf Warriors 2 turned out to be the lucky break that Zhang Han needed, and it looks like it’s set to continue.
